Pack It Up and Ship It Out

As you may have read, we are moving to Northfield, MN. The Lord has done some wonderful things in orchestrating our move and without the generosity of our in-laws this move would not be possible. We are very grateful for what we have been given. Truly we are blessed.

It is weird packing up tonight. All week we have been getting boxes ready, but tonight the house is starting to look more and more empty. That feels strange. It is kind of nostalgic and makes me miss my college roommates. I always enjoyed the time during finals when you were packing up your stuff and spending longer than normal just being with your friends.

There are some really great people I will miss spending regular time with after the move. But God is faithful and he has made a way for us, so I know that he will care for us as we move forward and he will care for those we leave behind.

Open House Tomorrow 1-3 PM

Stephanie is cleaning like crazy right now trying to get our place ready for an Open House tomorrow afternoon from 1-3.

Not that I mind the one-way, one-hour drive to Lakeville, but we would really love to sell the house before the end of November. So, if you know anyone looking to move to the NW suburbs please let me know.

Target Update – Official Offer

It is official and I couldn’t be happier. Yesterday I was offered a position with Target as an Executive Team Lead. I am very excited about the opportunity to build a career with such a wonderful corporation. The salary and benefits package are substantially higher than what I currently make and will improve our family life greatly. Plus, much of the stress on Stephanie will be lightened.

My prayer now is that I would be able to start the day after Labor Day. Right now I think I will be part of the South Metro district, so Stephanie and I are also praying that our house will sell quickly! We hope to find a new place in the Burnsville/ Lakeville/ Apple Valley area. Praise God for all this.

My last day at the A&W will be Saturday. It is sad to think about leaving all the people but I will not miss the stink!

First House Showing Today

We have our first house showing today at 3 pm. Please pray for God’s hand to work in this situation. Also, pray for Stephanie who is frantically cleaning in the midst of three crazy kids running around.
